It is with a heavy heart that the WT Group share the news that Steve Triphahn lost a long and courageous battle with Covid-19 on Monday, January 4, 2021.
Steve’s wife, children, and grandchildren are in our thoughts, and we ask that you keep them in yours as well. Steve had a deep love of the Illinois park district, forest preserve, conservation, recreation, and special recreation family. He had a great respect for this industry and the countless accomplishments of board members and professionals throughout the state.
As Chief Executive Officer of the WT Group, he made it his personal mission to help improve the quality of life in our community. It was why, as leader of our MEP Practice for decades, he was committed personally and professionally to ensuring that precision, pace, and passion would be the hallmarks of our work. Steve leaves behind a strong team that pledges to deliver a continuity of service and quality built upon his legacy and spirit of commitment.
