Can it be possible summer 2023 is almost over and kids are headed back to school? Although it’s true, we are pleased to report that some promising young people got a unique head start on their futures right here at WT Group during their break from school. We just held our second annual High School Shadow Program, which has become a key component of our valued community commitment. The program allows high school students considering careers in engineering and design to get hands-on experience with WT Group professionals. We’re excited about the success we’ve achieved so far and look forward to a new group of “shadows” next year. Learn more about it.
Certainly, one of the most important lessons our shadowers will take away is the critical importance of land surveying, which is also the focus of this newsletter. No matter what the project or vision may be – from a road or highway overpass to a shopping center, hospital, office complex or athletic field – it all starts with an accurate land survey of the kind WT Group professionals perform almost every day. No matter how many exceptional practice areas WT Group has to offer – whether engineering, architectural or construction – everything we do begins with a properly executed land survey.
