Welcome to our year-end edition of the WT Group Newsletter – and what a year it’s been! I like to think of 2022 as having been the first year of another half century of growth, expansion of our suite of services, and community engagement that defined WT Group’s first 50 years. Above all, 2022 was a year defined by our focus on service – to our employees, clients and community.
From an employee perspective, we implemented a successful pilot 'High School Shadow Program', in addition to building on the summer interns who worked with us as they took a break from college. Our goal in both cases is to develop future engineers and architects for roles within our diverse Practice Areas – further enhancing the bench strength of the WT Group organization.
On the client side, our commitment to service focused on maintaining and strengthening the long-term relationships we have with our existing clients, while building new relationships through the strength of our reputation. The goal of these partnerships, both long-standing and new, is to drive mutual success for WT Group and our clients.
And finally, our community engagement highlights included volunteer work with the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC), earning the exemplary ‘Champion for Children’ award, which I accepted on behalf of everyone at the WT Group. We also kicked off a re-brand of our charity arm, the WT Foundation, with our sold-out, inaugural ‘Grip It, Rip It, Trace It’ golf outing!
What’s on tap for 2023? Watch us and see! While we are as proud as we can be of WT Group’s now more than 50 years of growth and client service, our eyes are focused firmly on the future. We’re looking ahead to another great year of accomplishments, and we welcome you to join us on that journey.
Wishing you and your family a joyous, exciting, and above all, healthy holiday season and new year. As always, thank you for your interest in the WT Group.
Stay well,
