Golf Rose Animal Shelter

This project consisted the construction of a new 1-acre development consisting of a new state of the art animal shelter building, parking lot, and pet proof/friendly landscaping. WT Group provided a one (1) stop shop services including, site design, landscape design, structural engineering, MEP engineering, civil engineering, and surveying services. This project was a phasing challenge. The existing animal shelter had to stay open while the new animal shelter was being constructed. Therefore, the proposed building and site improvements needed to be constructed around the existing animal shelter facility. Permitting services were required for the Village of Schaumburg, Cook County Highway Department, and the MWRD. The site was successfully developed and currently has a very large client base including the US Customs Office and the Schaumburg Police Department. Since the Animal Shelter, W-T Group has also provided engineering services to remodel the existing Animal Hospital building, and to construct a state of the art Specialized Animal Hospital, both of which are next door to the animal shelter.
