Ricky Rocket Fuel Center – Retail Petroleum Facility with Carwash and Retail

This project covered a 6-acre site and included two buildings, an auto canopy, and a truck canopy. One building housed the convenience store, car wash, and fueling stations, while the other featured multi-user retail spaces. WT Group provided design, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering services, along with ongoing program management for various Ricky Rocket locations. This second Ricky Rocket retail petroleum facility was significantly larger than the first in Hoffman Estates, IL. A unique challenge was integrating the acrylic panel and steel structure car wash with the brick and metal panels of the block and steel convenience store. The successful completion of this project has influenced future designs for the Ricky Rocket program, aligning with the brand's evolving image and design standards.
