New Leaf Energy

New Leaf Energy has led development efforts on thousands of renewable generation and storage sites. They reached out to WT Group to help them identify potential sites for solar development. This includes over 100 locations across Illinois ranging in size from 40 to 200+ acres, most of which are farm fields in rural locations. Each location requires the Land Survey team to walk or drive across fields in order to obtain topography. In addition to the open land, other important information such as the height of trees is obtained, keeping in mind how the shade will affect the solar panels.
