Shell Gas Station in Gilberts

This project consisted of the construction of a new gas station on a 1.9 acre vacant lot in Gilberts, IL. On-site improvements include a new 4,700 square foot convenience store, twelve (12) fueling islands, site lighting, thirty (30) parking spaces and concrete sidewalks. Off-site improvements include two new Village Roads (Larkspur Drive and Trillium Drive), concrete sidewalks, a deceleration lane along IL Route 72 (Higgins Road), pedestrian signal improvements at the intersection of Tyrrell Road and Higgins Road, and a right-in right-out driveway connection to Higgins Road. Permit approvals were obtained from the Village of Gilberts, IDOT, Kane County DOT, and the IEPA.
